This is the best resort for the family stay! We were here for our anniversary celebration in month of June. The staff is very supportive & cooperative ,. The property is big, very well structured, maintained so you can enjoy any corner of the resort . . The food quality was excellent and senior chef personally taking care of each and every guest in the hotel. He used to ask for taste & comfort also. Thanks for best hospitality Room Tip: If you are visiting for 1st time then do not waste the money for sea facing room.
True Goan experience with a private beach holiday Perfect for Couples to spend a quality time One thing Resort should avoid leasing or renting property to or for wedding or recreation frequently. It's a disturbance Goa is a notable tourism destination in India but lacks good infrastructure and intercity connectivity is a big issue.
About a year back we had spent a week at a resort near Baga beach. The entire vacation i had spent thinking that are white skinned people superior to us. However the myth was completely done away with the experience at Park Hyatt. The staff, each and every member, whether the front office or the host at the lounge were extremely warm towards each and every visitor. There was no discrimination, whether an indian or a foreigner were given the same treatment.
Best Experience: Every thing from maintaining cleanliness of the rooms to providing water was done on a war footing. we did not need to call up the service numbers at all. Food was just amazing, three course meals with excellent combinations of desserts and sweets. The high tea was not just for name sake. The entire ambience was like a beautiful village setup with every requirement at hand. And finally the departure time, even before the front desk was approached the bills were prepared in advance and the buggy was at the door step. Efficiency and warm ambience makes me think of another holiday at the earliest.
This was a GHP redemption stay of 3 nights for my family. This was our first hotel stay in India, after having moved from the US. So we were excited and nervous about what to expect But the Park Hyatt staff and the property laid all our fears to rest. Right from the check-in process, to the rooms, the location, and the food. Everything reeks luxury in the hotel. The welcome drink of fresh coconut water was a great touch. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The location is wonderful for a peaceful stay away from the hustle-bustle of the North Goa beaches. The beach is wonderful, and stretches for miles on either side of the resort. The resort pools are great for lounging on warm days. The food was perfect, ranging from continental buffets to authentic Goan to Italian. The cookies with the coffee were a great touch. The staff made sure we were given ample attention each time we dined there (and we dined at the resort for every meal). Each time the staff would surprise my 3 year old with some dessert !! The best part was you could sit in an outdoor dining area and order from any of their restaurants All in all, a fantastic stay. Without doubt, one of the best stays of our travels so far.
We were booked onto the Hotel Hayat as part of a package tour. Location was only a 5 minute walk from the main attractions in the old city.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the common areas were generally neat and clean, although some touch-up painting would improve the overall appearance. Wifi reception was strong in most areas of the hotel. The breakfast was simple, but adequate; however, the coffee was quite weak and we ended up ordering cappuccinos instead.
Ours was a corner room (603) on the second floor. It was an odd-shaped room, sort of triangular, and it contained a double bed that was comfortable enugh and a single that we had to use as a place for our bags. There was a large wardrobe with only a few hangers, small tv with English channels, no aircon or ceiling fans. Again, some paint would be in order to improve the appearance. Bed comforters seemed clean, but with a few set in stains.
The bathroom was tiny and poorly illuminated. There was a crack in the sink which allowed water to spill onto the floor, the shower did not drain well and also had a good deal of mildew around the base. The 1970\'s era, white towels were threadbare and torn on edges.
Since the hotel was fully booked and we were with a small group we did not press for a different room. Although this was not the nicest hotel we\'ve stayed in, it was far from the worst. Overall, it was an OK place in a convenient location.
