It was a real pleasure reaching this resort after travelling nearly 190 km from Mangalore. The journey from Madikeri especially was so beautiful & scenic. We had a smooth hassle free check-in by the courteous reception staff. We were allotted a deluxe room which was quite near the dining area & also adjacent to the pool The resort is spread over nearly 9 acres of lush plantation. All types of facilities & modern amenities are available such as a beautiful swimming pool on the deck facing valley, lovely garden with play area for kids, bicycles for children, complimentary trek around the lovely plantation, ample space for parking, accommodation as well as dining facility for drivers, FREE WiFi near reception lobby The rooms with balconies are situated in independent ground plus one structures were spacious & most of them were facing valley where one could witness the beautiful sunset. We could hear & see all sorts of beautiful birds chirping in the early morning from our balcony The staff were all courteous, cooperative, wellhead & helpful. Food was lip smacking & delicious. The polite, hospitable & down to earth brothers owning the property were regularly keeping in touch with the guests. Hats off to all the brothers for maintaining & nurturing such a beautiful property. The alert managing director shri T. T. John who was always on his toes, was also mingling with the guests & looking after their needs. My special thanks to Mehrunnisa (booking division), Shri Punit (of & be Manager), Jerry, Anthony & Ravi (Front Office), Shri Kushalappa & Shri Lohit (naturalist) for making our stay so wonderful & memorable. Looking forward to visit this beautiful & romantic property again.
Bird of paradise is tucked away from the crowd, and offers a comfortable and relaxed stay and is the ideal place for a family get together. The property is on the banks of the river Cauvery and once there, you can sit back, relax and hear the sounds of birds chirping in the trees as you let your hair hang down.
The service is attentive yet unobtrusive, and the staff is ever ready to fulfill your expectations. Though it was just me and my wife staying there on a weekday in the middle of school term, we were given a camp fire all to ourselves. The wooden cabin that we stayed in was beautiful, and the pool is really inviting. The home cooked food is very tasty, and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal we ate there.
We really didn't want to go home after we experienced the stay. We ll definitely come back and recommend this place to all. Except how the reservation manager treated us we liked everything else. He should tone down when he speaks to the customer. Apart from that everyone were so humble and nice. Awesome work chef Srinivas about the food. Your food kept us going. We wished we could eat more and more of your food. Thimaiah who took us to the trek was super active. Very humble approach and really happy. Overall very happy.
The experience of staying in Amanvana Spa Resort will remain unforgettable. The cottage is comfortable and cosy. Room service is prompt. Mannerism and attitude of the staff is exemplary. Cleanliness can be observed everywhere in and around the campus. Complete cottage is clean and hygienic, 24 hours. Especially shower house was congenial, perfectly blended for couples. River side seating arrangement is maintained for couples. Sitting by the shore and observing the romantic atmosphere was appealing. The experience of river trekking was also unforgettable. Greenery all around gives soothing effect and refreshes mind, body and soul.
It was a Team Outing with a difference! The difference in this case was the Resort itself. It made normal expected fun seem even more memorable and (oh-my-god) luxurious. And the best thing, it made me want to stay for longer, come back again with other people and show it to them! (I am assuming that this happens only when you bond with a place like you would do with a family The service was great and the staff were friendly, and helpful! It also had a few fun activities that bring a little variety into the day. The trek was invigorating and cold, but I think doing something that you think you wouldn't do will be the best part of making great memories. Pushing the boundaries a bit. It was quiet, and the room beds lovely, the walk along the paths were filled with green, and the pool looks very inviting. The timeliness did not cause us any problems. But on the overall, it was a memorable trip. I am already wondering when I can go back again.
