The hotel is conveniently located near to the city I did not find any difficulties while finding the hotel. The staff were friendly in behaviour. The room that was provided to me was spacious and the amenities in the room were in proper working condition. There was no interruption during check-in and check-out process. I am satisfied with the services given by the hotel.
My stay was in The Chembra Heritage in the month of September 2016. The destination and location of the hotel was very good and was conveniently located but bit far from city. The appearance of the hotel was very good internally and externally. There was no delay in check in and checkout. The staff members were helpful and friendly in service but they were not quick to attend us. The room allotted to me was spacious and it was well maintained with all required amenities in working condition with hot water facility. I ate food in the hotel and it was good in quality and taste. I did not utilise any activities in the hotel. I had been to this hotel for relaxation with friends but the tariff for the room is bit high. I will recommend to keep the staff who knows the all the local language.
Good food. Good hotel. Good room. Good staff. Good climate. Near to city. Surrounding is silent. The rainy season will be much romantic. There are too many sites you can visit nearby the hotel. There is no swimming pool. The AC was not working fine especially I visited there in a hot season.
If you are looking for a cheap but clean stay, Baba Holiday Nest is a good place. I travel with my wife, and we usually leave our luggages in the hotel and then go exploring the sight-seeing places. So we don't prefer expensive stays. We took the double room as we were two couples. The rooms were very clean and neat. The hotel is slightly off Kalpetta Main Road so not noisy. It is not too far off from the road, though, so you can always walk 10 minutes and find decent restaurants to eat outside. The hotel itself does not have any restaurant -- we like it that way because we can eat outside. The room service was non-existent: no towels, no water, no soaps provided. But we are not complaining because we did not expect such things anyway. The double room came to Rs.2000, so each couple spent Rs.1000 only. The manager was helpful in suggesting nearby places to explore. Overall, a good budget stay if you are not particular about room service.
I had visited this hotel with my family for relaxation purpose. I had booked this room on the spot. I was satisfied with this hotel room. The service was not done on time. The check-in and check-out was done on time. The behaviour of the reception staff was not friendly in the hotel. I had paid extra for food. The food price was expensive. The WiFi facility was not available in the hotel. I went to this hotel by my own vehicle. The parking facility was provided by the hotel. The hotel location was good. I would suggest this hotel to improve the staff behaviour. I would not recommend this hotel for other travellers.
