Overall experience was average... Its a little far from the city centre and no sightseeing close by, its mandatory to hire a vehicle to reach any place. Thr hotel has a stream running behind, used by the locals, the sound of which was enduring, however made the rooms really cold.
Best Experience: The customer service by the hotel was great, they were very accommodative of the our requests and were politely willing to organise things for us. The front office executives are a big plus to the hotel.
Worst Experience: The restaurant & room service - below average. Restaurant has been leased to a third party & their attitude is quite ruthless. Food if ordered on room service would arrive atleast an hour late, no questioning will yield you answers. The rooms eventhough good are not maintained clean, when we checked in we found eatables from previous occupant still strewn on the floor, toilets was more clean and better comparitively. Hot water will be given only from 6 - 10 am, so when you check in at 12 noon, dont expect to get hot water to bath, had a tough time as we were travelling with a small kid.
Most beautiful place for nature lovers with good food
The location was on a hilly area with beautiful range and collection of Lilies in the garden maintained with cleanliness. Hotel staff was very courteous, food excellent and also other facilities like library, Night bonfire/music etc. Were very good. Hotel rooms were very good including bedding mattresses, bed sheets; other amenities like TV were also good quality. A twin room/suite with 2 bathrooms which we hired was an ideal thing to choose. Ideally 2-3 days are good enough to enjoy. Parking facility was also good and all visit point, city and lake can be accessed easily. One full day is required for a forest visit with collection of permit in the morning which was a good outing.
Overall experience in the hotel was good and the hotel is conveniently located. The surrounding of the hotel was good and the staff service was not good we faced only this problem in this hotel. The booking was done through online. The surrounding of the hotel was maintained and there was shopping mall available near by. The interior and exterior were normal hotel; complimentary breakfast was provided it was good in taste and quality with both veg and non-veg with lots of varieties. The rooms were good neat and clean with clean pillows and bedspreads amenities like AC, TV, and geyser facility. There were no issues at check-in and check-out and it was a comfortable stay. There was no idea about the activities available. It is value for money and recommendable for other travellers.
The appearance of the hotel was good. Everything was good. The activities were not arranged by the hotel. I had visited this hotel for relaxation tour with my family. The hotel was located nearer to the city. I had booked this room directly. The allotted room was spacious with clean. All amenities were available in working condition. I didn't taste food from the hotel. There was no delay in check-in and check-out. The appearance of the hotel was good. The parking facility was available at the hotel.
This place is one of the best places I\'ve stayed in South India. This location is abt 2 kms from the hustle bustle of Kodaikanal market place hence very quiet, calm and serene. The property is located on a hillside and has a beautiful landscaping taking full advantage of the hill slope. All rooms are spacious, airy and well ventilated. The restaurant, to my surprise, was able to deliver excellent service (quality, taste, appeal) for Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisine. The resort Manager is a jolly good fellow and ensures all guests are comfortable and takes pride and personal interest in adjusting the palate to the desired taste of each guest. The travel desk is mannged by Mr.sakthi (Manager) who\'s tips on everything local are really valuable.
Best Experience: Kodai is one of the most exotic places and also my favourite holiday destination. on reaching Kodai we zeroed in at lillys valley resort. The rooms were clean, the staffs were very responsive. The hotel is 2kms from the market place approximately. The view from my hotel room was excellent. It had a sprawling lawn. Good interiors & clean bathrooms. The view from the room was so good that i dragged a chair ouside the room and kept looking at those wonderful green hills covered with clouds. I was there for 4 days to celebrate Diwali hoildays & i think its the perfect holiday destination just in case if you need to sit back and relax.
Worst Experience: Nothins
