I visited Majorda Beach Resort for the third time as I was very happy with their services. On arriving, the hotel manager greeted me as he knows me due to my earlier visits to the hotel. Like always, my room was big enough and the beds were comfortable with two pillows and bed sheet for 2 people. The location of this hotel is pretty good and the food and services were just perfect. Among the other hotels, their prices are pretty affordable and the staff members do help the guests during their stay. There is a swimming pool and gym as well which makes it a perfect hotel to stay in.
Located almost 25 kms away from the airport, this property is good for people who like calm and serenity. Food is good and so is the service. Not many activities to do in the property and no breach of it own which is the sad part. Immediately outside the hotel are food joints which can be tried for change of taste. Martins' Corner a good food joint is also near-by which is a must-go especially in the evening.
Quite inside from the highway & took time to find the place. Check-in took over an hour in spite of confirming the booking. I stayed here for 2 days Alila has a very comfortable & pleasant atmosphere with landscaped gardens & beautiful corridors Room are excellent with spacious balcony. The bathrooms are the highlights of the rooms with a huge tub to sink in Spice Studio is a good restaurant with beautiful setting. The place is decorated with hundreds of jars filled with pickles which you can buy. Vivo is a good restaurant. Breakfast is served here with a huge food pallet My personal favourite is their poolside bar - edge. Best place to relax They have an in-house mini-theatre which play 2 movies. They also have a Embattled cart serving very tasty chaat Transportation to Majorda Beach is quick. Staff is helpful but once a senior staffer just ignored my query & walked away. They really need to work on their front-desk & the staffers there can be bit more polite A good place to relax if you don't mind staying away from the beach. Also if the observed flaws are corrected, Alila can be much better place to enjoy a holiday Overall, a great place for honeymooners. Highly recommended.
Good experience but costly place to stay. It is okay for conferences on package deal. Plus point is the beach. External appearance is okay but not of a 5 star calibre. Drinks are definitely costly. Travel desk okay. Senior citizens to be given discount on all facilities. TV cable connections of adjoining state to be included. National newspapers to be given to every room.
We were there in a large group. The stay was very luxurious and relaxing, with the sea just the correct distance away to keep away the sand and grit yet close enough to walk it. The resort had pick-up and drop facility for the small distance though and a security staff at the beach front too. The staff was always at hand and services were pretty prompt. The food leaves a bit to be desired, with hardly any local speciality on offer. Infinity pool with a large bar at its side and half immersed sun decks in water were a cool addition. Overall a great getaway.
