This resort is located on the main entrance to the manas national park. There is forest on the left, tea garden in the front and a rivulet at the backside. Its close to nature and very peaceful. The rooms , food and other services are very basic . There are frequent power cuts. Generator backup is there. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Overall its for absolute nature lovers and far from the madding crowd.
Best Experience: Enjoyed the jeep safaris and elephant rides in the jungle. The jungle treks were energising.
My stay was completely personal for three days, nice for relax after a hectic day of work and good budget hotel. Food was bit on a low side; otherwise a good hotel to stay and staff was really supportive. Nice location of the hotel as it was at the centre, cab services were also arranged by the hotel and parking space was sufficient.
Average hotel; expensive for facilities & services
The hotel was good. The external appearance of the hotel was not so good. It was an old building. Staff behaviour was not that much good except the manager of the hotel, he was very well behaved. I also did not like the food of the hotel. They had provided a car for sightseeing. Internet service was not provided by them. No activities were provided in the hotel. It was a very old hotel. The room was also very old with no special view. It was a family trip. The destination was quite expensive for the facilities and services I got. I would never recommend this hotel to others. I would suggest to them, they should renovate the hotel internally as well as externally.
