Heritage Manesar is the right thing in the wrong place !! It is truly a wonderful resort with 12 acres of spread, facilities like swimming, badminton, tennis, volleyball, indoor games. But the location is not ideal. But the fact that it is only 1 hr away from Delhi makes it very accessible for weekend trips. The resort is surrounded by very ordinary locales but once you enter it - there is a different world. And the experiece inside is truly worth it.
Best Experience: The resort has a wonderful night club Bhangra and the DJ plays great music. Truly a great place to unwind. The rooms are great- the special attraction being the sit outs.
The pool is also very tempting.
Worst Experience: The location is a little bit of letdown as you can\'t go out anywhere. Another thing is the health club which is not too hot!!
This Resort\'s proximity to Delhi is a great plus for people like me who would like to save time on travel. The ambience and overall appearance is Great. We were two families who went for the new year bash - 2 nights/3 days package. Great part was the \'all-inclusive\' package - right from Food and mid-day snacks to all sorts of Drinks - alcohol, soft drinks and juices. Beautiful lawns where they held the evening tea and also the Tambola on well laid-out tables during sunny afternoon. The entertainer jockey would hold many competitions through out the day - for Kids as well as adults - and kept everybody engaged. Of course, Chilly winter didn\'t allow us to dive into the swimming pool that we normally see on their web-site.
Best Experience: We had great fun by the entertainer jockey ... had many competitions for adults apart from separate games for kids (treasure hunt, etc), and some for entire families like \'tug of war\'. Cricket and Table tennis were quite hot on both the days. Kids additionally had Camel rides, etc. Food quality and variety were excellent. Tambola was organized in a very professional manner – seating arranged on beautifully laid-out tables all over the sprawling lawn –with drinks and snacks served. The late evening entertainment on 30th & 31st nights was also well organized.
Worst Experience: 1) Check-in experience wasn’t impressive – we had to wait for one hour for the room “to be cleaned up and made available”. No one was available to talk on the front-desk – may be due to inadequate staff for the big groups arriving for new year package. 2) While food quality was good - service was really poor - again probably due to shortage of staff. Lunch and Dinner would get served across two restaurants (which are adjacent to each other) but we had to wait and chase their few waiters for smallest things. 3) Movie theatre in the basement (adjacent to the Bar) had poor video quality – as if it was out of focus! I did continue to watch the complete film on big screen - but returned with a headache! 4) While they served liquor throughout the day (until 11pm) - They didn’t allow us to carry glasses outside the bar which is in the basement. 5) The surroundings aren\'t much except the National Highway!
Average when compared to high standards of the rci resorts.being the only rci resort close to the national capital we decided to stay to explore both delhi and jaipur. the journey from airport to the resort was comfortable and economical[800rps in tata indigo] The front office was not appealing and found difficulty to speak proper english. The studio apartment provided to us was below average and maintained poorly.management needs to do a lot of homework properly.
Best Experience: The only good experience was we had a full fledged kitchen so that we cooked some homely food when we found some time.housekeeping and service needs a mention here add were efficient.some greenary and some birds around the rooms was refreshing.fountains and hommock around the greenary needs a mention here.
Worst Experience: The golf course was a big dissapointment and poorly maintained.the health club which boasts of a gym had only some junk material which could not be used. The iron board kept in the room had broken legs and was in such a bad shape, that i had to ask them to remove it from the room.
Poor room service. Poor staff. Even after 2 hours no room service. In 40 minutes got milk for my kid in room. Called many times they always says milk left but received in after 40 minutes. Never come again. They have there own rules above the government also. While come here follow the rules of this resort which are not relevant. It must be improved.
We spent our fifth anniversary here. And it was beautiful. The resort has the perfect fairytale setting. The food at the restaurant was awesome. It was all very enjoyable and memorable. But what really tested the service capabilities of this place was when my wife fell ill. A doctor was quickly called, and medicines prescribed. Medicines were fetched from the pharmacy. All without inconveniencing us. Highly recommended.
