OKAY! So when it comes to picking up the best hotel in Goa, blindly with your closed eyes choose Goa marriot Resort. I mean really wow. Room was amazingly beautiful. Well air conditioned. Bed was very comfortable. And what can I say about the wash room. Well that was more beautiful then the main room. Lol. Was damm tasty and a big thanks to all the staff members for being so outstanding. Lovely place that was.
I visited Goa and stayed for 2 nights at this well located resort in Goa. The refurbished rooms have been done up so well that it doesn't look like a 15 year old property. To start with, we were supposed to reach the hotel by 9 am and their usual check in begins at 4 pm; but what a pleasant surprise to find our room ready by the time we reached the hotel (10 am). Not only this, our room was upgraded from garden view to bay view. What a pleasant beginning. Right from the check in process, everyone was super courteous and made me feel like you are back home. Access to all the services (lounge, spa, casino etc) was super easy and that made our stay even more memorable. The bay view room was great and one can spend time sitting on the sofa and watching the waves and the launches dropping hordes of visitors in Miramar. This resort is well located and gives easy access to all the sightseeing places in North Goa. A memorable vacation indeed!
The Goa Marriott has definitely earned its five stars. Such attentive and genuine staff are there. I have travelled a lot and stayed at many different hotels and locations and I can honestly say I was thoroughly impressed with the Goa Marriott. Beautiful rooms with an amazing view of the beach. Great breakfast, combination of international and Goa food. We stayed there for three nights and were not at all tired of the delicious food. We also hired a driver for three days- Prasad, who was truly great. He was attentive and friendly, as well as very knowledgeable of where to go and what to do in the area. He recommended some really awesome places to eat as well as some gorgeous beaches that were not on the tourist list. Overall, it was one of the best trips I ever had so far, and if I ever come back, I will definitely stay at the Marriott.
Location wise the hotel was excellent. It was easily located. The staff were friendly, they were quick to attend our requests. The room was spacious, neat, clean and well maintained. All the amenities were working properly in the room. The food was good and we got whatever we ordered. It was buffet system and it was reasonable. Activity like spa was provided. We arranged our own sightseeing trip. I will recommend this hotel to others. It was value for money. I didn't face any difficulty during check-in and check-out.
My overall experience was very good in this hotel. Hotel location was excellent. Hotel was centrally located. Ambience was very nice. Overall services were perfect. Rooms were clean and well maintained. I stayed at deluxe room there. I visited there in the month of May 2013. Hotel was located in the city. Services were good. They were attending all our requests. Staff behaviour was helpful and friendly. I took my food in the hotel and it was superb. Indian and continental food was available. Ambience of the hotel was good. Swimming pool, gym, game, everything were there but spa was not there. No delays in check-in and check-out. It was romantic and relaxation trip. I will recommend this hotel to other travellers. Goa as tourist destination is best.
