It was my trip to Mumbai in the month of december 2016 where I stayed in the Le Sutra. It was my business trip with alone. My travel destination was good because scenic place with appropriate weather. My hotel location was good as number of options for shopping is more. I would rate the appearance of the hotel as very good. Hotel front office was very good as they will respond quickly with appropriate information. I booked this room through online. I would rate the services in the hotel were good because of availability of service. Rooms which we stayed in were very good because of available facilities. The hotel food was very good because price is very comfortable with more varieties.
The resort is in the heart of Mumbai and Aksha beach is very nice beach. I have visited so many beaches, but aksha beach is in classic situation. The resort is situated near to the sea and looks very nice from beach. There all time running film suiting is going on.
I had been to Novotel Juhu beach for a day's stay for a conference. Right from the front desk which allotted the room at 3 pm to the room on the second floor was BAD. Inexperience in handling too many check-ins at the same time may be the reason Now coming to the rooms, I was allotted one on the second floor as I opted for a smoking room. After coming out of the elevator on the second floor, a non smoker would have fainted, that bad is the smell on the entire floor. Once entering the room, the entire room was filled with the smell of smoke. The carpets, curtains all were yucks. I understand that I had opted for the room but this was unbearable for me too. The room was old, in fact everything in the room badly needed a makeover. The bathroom's toilet accessories were leaking water. Less said the better I have stayed in Novotel in India and abroad but this was my first bad experience Now the pluses (very few though), location is the BEST. Sipping cocktails in the evening near the pool, overlooking the beach and watching the sun go down is an amazing experience. Food was good. It has a well equipped gym and a well maintained pool. Walking distance from the hotel is the famous Mahesh lunch home if are a sea foodie. Then you have Prithvi theatre where you can catch up on good theatre and plays in the evening and also catch up with people of similar interest over cuppa chai. Then you can visit the Juhu beach and enjoy some great pani Puri chaat and pav bhaji, ice gola, etc Overall, I love Mumbai and its fast pace. The places to eat and the never say die attitude of mumbaikars is amazing. As for Novotel Juhu beach, do some renovation and a makeover One advice to the management: Take advantage of the location. Don't take it for granted. Ciao and happy holidaying.
I stayed there for two days, two nights. When I reached hotel on 20th night January 2016, at about 11:30 pm, I was told that there is no booking in my name, they also told me that they are full today, and no room is available, then I showed the print outs of my booking for two nights, I had paid full in advance The key of the room was not working for two days, every time their man had to come with me to open the room with the master key. Morning breakfast was not sufficient, no variety, no taste, few breads, omelet, watermelon and Paratha but not much for the vegetarians. I told the in charge Mr. Singh that I am not eating the breakfast since it is not good and no variety, they did not offer me any thing more and I took breakfast outside by paying Rs. 200 then what is the meaning of Free Breakfast Next day they prepared Idli and Vadas for vegetarians but I had to go to temple, if they had informed me on 21st evening that on 22nd morning there will be enough items for vegetarians then I might have eaten but could not eat and offered that food to my driver. People should not take breakfast in this Hotel If the room key is not working and guest is facing problem then hotel should give at least 25% refund to the passenger. There is little sound of the road, so roadside rooms should be avoided. One Udipi Restaurant near by is good for breakfast near Dadar railway station.
The hotel is located far from the city but the place is calm and peaceful. I had my own car for travelling but bus facility is also available. The appearance of the hotel good and it is similar to villa. The staff members are cooperative and friendly in behaviour. The room allotted to me was spacious and cleanly maintained with all the basic amenities in good condition, and there was a valley view. We could not eat food at this hotel as we were outside most of the time. There were some games and activities available but I did not have a look at that. I had been here with my family and our experience was very good.
