Port Blair is an excellent destination with nature at its best The hotel has a very good location on a hill top and great view of the sea. The lobby and lounge area has excellent views and a good strong sea breeze through the day The sea view hotels are good for the view but the rooms and especially the bathrooms are in a sad state and do need immediate attention. It is long past it's glorious days The steps leading to the bed in some rooms is cute though not recommended for families with little kids The pool is never open Garden though well kept has no easy access.
The hotel was located in the city. All amenities were in working condition. The room was comfortable and clean. The food price was reasonable. The complimentary breakfast was given by the hotel. The behaviour of the staff was friendly. I had visited this hotel for relaxation trip. I had booked the room on the spot. I don't have any suggestion for this hotel. I would recommend this hotel for upcoming travellers.
I think every thing of this hotel is best and it has already cleared all services like a mirror. Food prices are exorbitant. Restaurant was also good and staff presentation was also so great maintained. The electric kettle in the room was not working. They had a menu in the room which was so special from this hotel. I like it. So this hotel is good.
I had been to Port Blair in May 2014. I found that the hotel Sentinel is an excellent place for the tourist. It is just touching the sea and near by the centre point of Port Blair with tourist activities. A long walk from hotel on sea side shows local college, water sports and than to local market There is a small natural pool attached with the Hotel where you can have a Bath with sea water. A huge floor has terrace attached to reception is also excellent. Even restaurant on ground floor is also very good location as it is directly attached with the inner garden and sea side. There is fountain and direct way from room area to garden and sea. Very nice, quite and pleasant place. Staff and management is also excellent. I love the place and would like to visit Port Blair again, just for staying at Sentinel Hotel. Cafe near reception and reception area is also very good.
