Route: Bangalore to Manali

"Quiet a unsafe journey in train"

2.9/5

Posted 22 December, 2015

We traveled from Bangalore to Delhi by Yeshwantpur Nizamuddin Sampark Kranti train no.(12629). There are many trains from Bangalore to Delhi and if one is ready to spend more time in train they can travel till Chandigarh. Pick premium trains like Duronto or Rajdhani for comfortable and safe journey. If your looking at budget then there are many other trains. But, my personal advise is to go for premium trains. From Delhi/Chandigarh there are many Volvo/ taxi services to Manali.

"The journey took 48 hours and the food provided was not so good."

We started our journey from Yeshwanthpur railway station in sleeper. It was around 48 hours journey and the food provided was not so good. There was a continuous supply of water, tea, soft drinks and refreshments. Its better to travel by air conditioned compartments as you have more comfort and privacy during your journey and also you will feel more secured.
