Food quality in this hugely popular train is pathetic. Travelled by 2 tier AC which cost me the same as a flight travel. Moreover the unjustified huge waiting/ travel time taken by this train between cantonment and Bangalore city junction which is matter of just 6-7 kms is close to 30 mins on your bad day.

Train experience is as usual. Didn't like the food. Our seats were comfortable, long journey though. The train was on time and halted for too long, when we were reaching Bangalore station. Food was ok. Very expensive though and normal water was 20 INR.

Good train. Food was standard and train was on time. For Mysore Visit best way to travel is by train because maximum time u r not able to purchase flight tickets due to limited flights to Mysore. There r another trains also from Mumbai. If u want to Visit B'lore from Mysore u can take Mys-Chennai Shatabdi Exp. Nice experience.
