The most European of Northamerican Countries

Our last travel was in Canada: we visited Montréal, The Eastern Provinces, and Québec City – It was interesting, but a bit disappointing: being Italian, and having travelled many times in Europe, everything was a bit of the houses, the shops ... In a way also the people! So, Montreal is a very nice e liveable city, the Eastern Provinces very cute villages so well tended they looked like Switzerland, and Québec City is nice but very turistic ... Just like a lot of Italian cities (Florence, Venice etc). As, becoming older, we like more and more the nature and walking in the nature, we enjoyed mostly the visit at the Gorge du Coaticook and the night show there: the Foresta Lumina is a beautiful long-ish walk in the park, along paths in the forest, that for the occasion is lighted in a very suggestive and fascinating way.
About travelling and how to do it: after so many years, we have learnt to travel with just the minimum (2 pair of trek-pants, 4 or 5, underwear & socks, just 1 pair of comfy trek shoes, a thin waterproof poncho, and 1 nice shirt in case we fell need to be a little more fancy ... Doesn’t happen often, though; just when we went in the Marionette Museum in Jaisalmer to see the marionette show ... It was great! And using the local laundries: this way, also, we don’t have to check the baggage on the planes and save a lot of time waiting for it at the arrival! It was this way we were able to travel 3 months in India just with a backpack each ... And also if my husband’s was for the most full with cameras & watercolors to paint, it was more than enough. And the photos from our India’ travel are the ones I am attach. : We loved the country & the people so much!

Most inspiring visit in Canada

Most Inspiring scenery, vibrant cities and a welcoming atmosphere all make Canada a popular tourist destination. As the largest country in North America, Canada is a vast land encompassing majestic mountains, spectacular coastlines, virgin forests, spacious prairies and Arctic tundra. While much of the nation is of British and French descent, Canada is home to a mosaic of multicultural community. Top places I have visited are. 1. Vancouver island, is the largest island off the West Coast of the North American continent . 2. Banff National Park, remains more than 93 percent untouched. The breathtaking scenery of wildlife includes mammals like black bears, grizzly bears, bison, moose, bighorn sheep, wolves and cougars in addition to 280 species of birds . 3. Niagara Falls, is a series of three inspiring waterfalls situated on the border of Canada's Ontario and the United States' New York . 4. Toronto, is also one of the most culturally diverse cities . 5. Whistler resort is the largest and most famous alpine ski destination in North America . . 6. Ottawa is home to many financial, commercial and federal establishments including Parliament Hill, the government seat where the ceremonial Changing of the Guard takes place daily during the summer These are the most places I have visited in Canada. Most of places are environmental heritage are such as mountain, Islands, etc. Advice to travelers is to. Travel by road and train ways. My inspiring journey is that kept me busy is trekking ,. Boating and nature walks
