The Holy Reverence

Nearest landmark is the Goshala. Definitely a place worth a visit. The entire aura is quite electric and there is a peace that is undefinable. There are some restrictions based on the religion practices. For eg Only Hindus and Buddhists are allowed in the Sanctum Sanctorum.Photography is prohibited in the temple compound is enforced. Shoe Stands and Potable Water are available. The Aarti of the river in the Afternoon is amazing. You may be surprised by the monkeys' 'playfulness', but they are harmless.

Last Jyotirling

Without Darshan of Pashupatinath Yatra of 12 Jyotirlinga is not considered as completed. We visited this Jyotirlinga twice. Kedarnath and Pashupatinath concludes as 12th Jyotirling. This is highest and No. 1 religious place in Nepal. This time we offer an Abhishekam also. Here you can get darshan from all 4 sides, east-west-north and south. Mind and heart both were full of joy and blessing by Lord Shiva. This is a must visit place when you are in Kathmandu.

Enchanting and pleasant atmosphere

I am not a very religious person but I loved this place. The atmosphere is so enchanting. You will surely love this place. If you visit the temple at evening, go to the ghat and attend the aarti. This will make you feel so better.

Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva

This temple is located five km east of Kathmandu on the bank of the sacred Bagmati river a tributary to the Ganges. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva who is the creator and destroyer of life, is famous for its two tiered golden roof and silver door. It is very good and very spiritual place. It is very ancient place. There are many Hindus who go and do darshanam.

A well maintained temple

A clean and well managed temple. Should visit in morning around 9.00 a.M. Avoid visiting the temple on Monday and Saturday since there will be rush. For special puja, should book in 2 days advance by visiting temple.
