Rome
The weather was pleasant. The highlight was their architecture and cobbled streets. The must-visits are Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, The Pantheon, Villa Borghese and last but not the least the Colosseum.
Food and Shopping: The shopping experience is great. You have all the high-end brands and for most of the brands, Italy is the birthplace. The food was very good. However, the menus are limited and more or less the same in every Restaurant.
Highlight of the trip: The walk around the city and Trevi fountain area were great

Weather was pleasant. Food was good, however every restaurants had more or less the same food. We saw the Vatican Museums, Sisteen Chappel, St. Peter’s Basilica, The Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, The Colosseum, Roman forum and Borghese gardens. One must have in Rome is Gelatos, all are good but try to have Gelato from Venchi.

Rome Overview
Who does not know about Rome? The Italian capital is one of the most popular international destinations for tourists. Tourists from all over the world visit Rome to enjoy its famous attractions such as the Colosseum and the Vatican Museum. Its archaeological heritage and history is priceless, which is why Rome is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Tourists can also visit interesting buildings, such as government offices, palaces, temples and museums. One of the most iconic buildings in Rome is the Colosseum, built under the reign of Emperor Vespasian and Emperor Titus.
The origin of Rome dates back to 2000 years or the year 753 BC. At first, it was a ghetto area, which later evolved into a huge empire. In the early Middle Ages, Rome turned into an establishment the Roman Catholic Church. As time passed, the influence and power of Rome in the year 800 BC increased and the town laid the foundation of the holy Roman Empire. This is the same time when the Vatican City was also born behind the high walls of the empire.
Romans ruled the land and led a strong and capable government in power for 500 years, between 510 BC and 23 years, which gave the world leaders such as Julius Caesar, August, Claudius, Nero, Titus, and Trojan.
Rome enjoys four seasons. Summer months extend from June to September. It enjoys a Mediterranean climate, however, the best time to take a trip to this city is in October. October is when the weather is fairly friendly and the sky is clear. November and December are months when Rome receives rainfall. Travellers can also plan a visit to Rome during springtime, between March and June, when the temperature is stable and comfortable.
The city of Rome is located in the Italian peninsula and can be reached by air, land and sea.
