Ranked 2 of 25 sightseeing in Sharjah

Central Market, also known as Blue Souk is located in close proximity to Khaled Lagoon. It is the largest market in Sharjah. Opened in the year 1979, it exemplifies Islamic architecture. Comprising more than 600 air conditioned shops, this market is divided into two sections. One section includes shops offering electronic items and gifts, whereas the other section comprises shops selling jewellery, gems and gold. Both these sections are linked with tunnels.

Carry a large amount of money

It is a very crowded place. You get to know UAE's tradition from there! You get to buy a lot of stuff from there! So definitely, you must carry a good amount of money while visiting the Central Market.
