Scenic site

It's a high point, about one hour drive from Thimpu, the Bhutanese capital, it has 108 stupas constructed by oneOf the earlier queen of Bhutan and is a holy place for the budhists, on a clear day, one can see many mountains ofThe Himalayan range. The cafe nearby is good but being the only one, is quite crowded.

108 Holy Stupas

It's 108 Holy Stupas, near Thimpu. About 25 minutes drive, nice place to visit. In between good greenery with strawberry plants. The strawberry flowers posted took in between Stupas. It's nice to experience energy of Holy Stupas.

Dochula pass

At the Dochula pass is the 108 stupas or chortens. These stupas are supposed to represent the peoples love, appreciation and loyalty to the king. Dochula pass is a stopover point while going to Punakha. There is a small cafeteria here which serves coffee/tea and snacks. When we reached Dochula the weather was foggy and we could not enjoy the beautiful sight of Himalayan ranges but we did enjoy the cool breeze and misty atmosphere.
